The water temperature around the Perhentian Islands is consistently warm ranging from 28’C to 30`C season round so wetsuits are non essential. Discover the amazing underwater world of the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia. Join us scuba dive with Turtles, Reef Sharks and Rays. If we are lucky, we might even get to swim alongside a Whaleshark at Tokong Laut (Temple of the sea) catch a glimpse of an Eagle Ray at Terumbu Tiga (T3) or get caught in a Barracuda tornado at Kapal Polis (Police Wreck)
The Perhentian Islands is surrounded by warm, crystal clear water filled with a great variety of brilliantly coloured tropical fish and coral reefs offering excellent scuba diving adventures and snorkelling experience in an extremely idyllic and laid back setting. The Perhentians offer some great diving and excellent snorkelling. Underwater visibility is usually around 10-30 metres and wetsuits are generally non essential although you may wish to use a skin suit for some protection. All travellers to the islands must pay a marine park conservation charge payable at the Marine Parks counter located at the Kuala Besut Jetty. MYR5 (Malaysian), MYR30 (Non Malaysian)
